Liberty Investment Properties, Inc. has jumped significantly in rank from number 74 to 57 on this year’s Mini-Storage Messenger’s “Top Operator’s List”. It’s been a busy year for the company with the expansion of its self-storage locations and management services. Liberty’s most recent acquisition; a self-storage facility sized at over 59,000 sq. ft. in the South Daytona area brings the company’s MyNeighborhoodStorageCenter.com website to a total of 15 locations available within the state of Florida. In addition to acquiring new properties, they have also begun the expansion and improvement of their existing facilities. A brand new climate controlled building is scheduled to open in February 2015 at the My Neighborhood Storage Center location on Rinehart Road in Lake Mary, FL. Other major capital improvements include the installation of a new roof at their Kissimmee property.
With assets in both the hospitality and self-storage industries, Liberty Investment Properties, Inc. shows no sign of slowing down. Vice President Adam Mikkelson is very optimistic about the company’s future growth. “We continue to look for strategic storage partnerships through management, acquisition and development in the Southeast. In addition to self-storage, Liberty is actively pursuing development through our extended stay hotel portfolio in Tampa, FL and Charlotte, NC. We are very excited about the future”, says Mikkelson.
